Mayor Bowser to Celebrate Graduation of DC FEMS Recruit Class 382

(WASHINGTON, DC) – On Friday, April 27, at 10 am, Mayor Muriel Bowser will celebrate the graduation of DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services’ (FEMS) Recruit Class 382. After six months of multifaceted training, fifteen graduates of Recruit Class 382 will join the FEMS department as dual-role firefighters and paramedics.

The latest recruit class is part of Mayor Bowser’s ongoing commitment to improve the FEMS department and ensure a safer, stronger DC. Under the Bowser Administration, more than 400 men and women have joined the department, 300 of whom are in operations as either firefighters/ EMTs or firefighters/ paramedics.
