(Washington, DC) – District of Columbia Fire and Emergency Medical Services (DCFEMS) members are mourning the passing of veteran Firefighter Emmanuel Parker.
Emmanuel Parker was assigned to Engine Company 13, Platoon Number 4. He was just 29 years old.
Firefighter Parker will be laid to rest this Friday, April 15, 2016. And until then, all flags at DC FEMS facilities will remain at half-staff.
DC FEMS Chief Gregory Dean added, “On behalf of the Department, I express our deepest heartfelt sympathy to the family and loved ones of Firefighter Emmanuel Parker.”
The funeral arrangements are as follows:
Friday, April 15, 2016:
0900 - 1100 hrs: Viewing
1100 - 1300 hrs: Funeral Service
1300 - 1400 hrs: Line-up and processional to Ft. Lincoln Cemetery
1400 hrs: Interment Service
