Everybody Grows is a nonprofit organization that has collaborated with the Department to establish community gardens at selected firehouses. This activity provided the participating companies with a tremendous opportunity to engage the community that proved successful.
The following companies will participate in the program this year:

Company Commanders can choose a variety of vegetables (i.e. tomatoes, peppers, corn, etc.) and herbs (i.e. basil, sage, oregano, etc.) to grow and will coordinate this activity with the Public Information Office and the Property Management Division. At the end of the growing season, companies are encouraged to consume their harvest and share with the community.
