December  3, 2007	2008 Fire/EMS Cadet Program applications available
February 4 - 29 , 2008	Completed applications accepted at Department of Employment Services Office of Youth Programs
February 2008– March 2008	Applicants reviewed by DOES and DC Fire/EMS Department
March 2008	DC Fire/EMS Department notifies selected candidates. Approx. 30 will be selected for the 2008 Fire/EMS Cadet Program.
Summer 2008	2008 Fire/EMS Cadet Program begins at Fire/EMS Department Training  Academy
